The species Tyrannosaurus “Rex” meaning “king” in Latin, often called T-REX, is one of the best represented theropods. T-REX was one of the largest land carnivores of all time. The largest known T-REX skulls measure up to 1.54 meters (5 ft) in length. The vertebral coloumn of Tyrannosaurus consisted of ten neck vertebrae, thirteen back vertebrae and five sacral vertebrae. The forelimb or arm was very short. The upper arm bone, the humerus, was short but robust.Since it was first described in 1905, T-REX has become the most widely recognized dinosaur species in popular culture.
